We will be serving at Kudjip as Sponsored Missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene for the 2024-2025 school year. We will need partners to support us with prayer, communication, and interest in caring for missionary kids and their educational needs.
As volunteers, we will also need partners to support us financially through the 2024-2025 school year we spend in PNG. While Joel will still be employed part-time, we will need to raise additional financial support in order to make our service there possible.
We will be keeping in regular contact with our support network, sharing stories and pictures about what is happening at Kudjip and letting you know how you can pray for us, for the work at Nazarene General Hospital, for the church in PNG, and for the missionary kids we will be serving.
Your partnership with us will not only make it pragmatically possible for us to be in Papua New Guinea next year, it will provide us with the emotional, spiritual, and relational support we will need to adjust to this new situation as a family and creatively and passionately engage with providing a rich educational experience for missionary kids at Kudjip in the coming year.
Pray for our sanity as we pack and clean and say goodbye in our last few days in the U.S.!
Pray for safe and smooth travel when we depart on Aug. 5--we will be passing through Honolulu, Manila, and Port Moresby before arriving in MT. HAGEN!!
Pray that our children will feel secure in their new environment, be open to trying new things, make friends in PNG, and sustain their friendships in AK.
Pray that Bekah will feel inspired as we start the school year and be a source of encouragement to her students and their families.
Pray with us for the people of Papua New Guinea--for peace and security, for justice, for God's love to reach those who suffer physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Pray for the continued growth and expansion of the church and for more people to know the healing love of Jesus.
Praise the Lord with us for His provision through your faithful generosity--we have been so incredibly blessed and encouraged by your support!
